Pleysier College focuses on tailored support and education pathways, helping students re-engage with learning and progress towards suitable vervolgonderwijs, work or a sustainable next step.
The essence of the project
At Pleysier College’s Bestuursbureau, I worked as interim board/management support at the heart of the organisation, ensuring governance processes, decision-making, and daily operations ran smoothly. My role was to provide structure, oversight, and continuity across board-level agendas, stakeholder coordination, and organisational workflows, while keeping communication clear, deadlines on track, and actions followed through.
Skills & Expertise Gained
- Governance & meeting cycle support: prepared, coordinated, and documented board-level meetings (planning, agendas, decision lists, actions, follow-up).
-
Stakeholder & agenda management: aligned availability and priorities across directors, advisors, and internal/external stakeholders; kept complex schedules moving.
-
Process & structure improvement: introduced clearer ways of working (templates, checklists, tracking, standard communication formats) to reduce friction and increase consistency.
-
Operational continuity: acted as the “spider in the web” for urgent questions, routing topics to the right owners and ensuring timely responses.
-
Administrative control & accuracy: maintained a high standard on documentation, version control, and completeness of files and approvals.
-
Project-based coordination: supported cross-department topics (e.g., planning cycles, HR-related coordination, internal communications, and vendor/stakeholder touchpoints) by translating requests into concrete next steps and ownership.
